Hey Everyone,

Aberrant Literature is excited to announce that we have just launched our very own crowdfunding campaign! As a new entity, we wanted to take this time to tell you a little bit about who we are and what we’re about.

Aberrant Literature is more than just a publishing house. We are an independent collective of like-minded authors embracing the creativity and imagination of the literary arts.

Whereas reading and storytelling was once about exploring the psyche and mining the imagination for unique and original ideas, the publishing industry of today has been reduced to a slog of predictable and derivative material ordered by corporate executives based on computational analytics. This runs contrary to the nature of an artist. Artists are meant to conceive the impossible and imagine the unimaginable, and it is our mission at Aberrant Literature to do exactly that.

Publishing the right the way is expensive, which is why we need your help to make it happen. Between editing, proofreading, marketing, publicity, copyrights, legal fees, and plenty of other expenses, we need $40,000 to get the company established and create, market, and distribute our first two professionally published books in Q1 2018, as well as develop four additional novels for release in 2019.

The first two books we will be releasing are a 12-Story short fiction anthology called Aberrant Tales, and a brand new adventure franchise beginning with the novel Whiteout, featuring infamous monster hunter Nick Ventner in the first of a planned trilogy.

If you agree that the publishing industry as we know it has become tired and predictable, please show your support by donating to our campaign.  All of the authors at Aberrant Literature would be incredibly grateful, as it would allow us to share our gifts with you, and help reintroduce the wonder and magic of creative fiction to the world.

Donate today at GoFundMe.com/AberrantLit

So you can be certain of where specifically your money is going, a list of the various costs is as follows:

Professional Editing (2 books) = $7,000
Pay Per Click Advertising campaign for Amazon, Google, Apple, and other affiliates (6 months, 2 books) = $6,000
Professional Distribution Network, Setup (Amazon, Apple, Google, Retail Distribution & More (2 books) = $4,000
Business Registration, Setup, and Legal Fees = $3,000

In addition to the basic costs above, we also have an opportunity to work with a well-established marketing firm in the Los Angeles area. They are respected throughout the industry, and have won numerous awards for their work over the years. They have graciously agreed to work with us for a period of 12 months at a substantially reduced rate of $20,000.  Being able to work with this company would help launch Aberrant Literature into the national spotlight, and if we can cover the basic production costs above, our next step will be to raise enough money to have the privilege of working with this esteemed marketing firm.

The production cost plus marketing all amount to a total of $40,000. We know we have a long way to go, and are grateful for any contribution you can make towards our cause. In doing so, you are helping all of us achieve our dreams and usher a new era of creative expression into the world.

We have also come up with a lot of awesome tiers and packages you can achieve by donating. Be sure to take a look at the list on the page to see which option interests you the most.

From the bottom of our hearts, all of us here at Aberrant Literature thank you for your support!
